A note on why we’re building this
Hi there,
Social video has quietly become the main way people discover things. The line between a post and an ad has mostly disappeared. A good TikTok is an ad. A good ad looks like a TikTok.
That puts a lot of pressure on people running their own business. You’re expected to make a steady stream of video, and not one perfect video but many versions, because you never know which opening will land. Most founders I talk to know this. They just don’t have the time or the editing skills.
The footage is usually there. The bottleneck is the edit. Hours in CapCut for one clip, then doing it again tomorrow. When AI video showed up, it mostly made new footage nobody asked for, or one clip at a time.
We think there’s a better way. Use the footage you already have. Cut it into versions that are actually different, so each one teaches you something. Put it in every format with your look on it. No timeline, no learning curve. And when you do want control, the project will be there.

One finished export, up to 60 seconds. Changing and re-exporting the same video is free.
What if I run out?

What can I make with Cutleap?
Short videos for TikTok, Reels and Shorts: talking heads, product demos, day-in-the-life clips, tips, reviews, recaps, and clips cut from longer videos. You can post them as they are or run them as ads.
I’ve never made videos for my business. Where do I start?
Start with what you have: a few phone clips of you talking about what you do, your product or your space. Our tutorials cover what to film and how hooks work, and the prompt library has ready-made requests you can copy. Cutleap handles the editing.
What footage do I need?
Whatever you’ve got. Phone clips, a long talking-head take, a podcast recording, product shots, B-roll or AI-generated clips. More distinct moments give us more versions to make.
Do I need to know how to edit?
No. You upload footage and say what you want, like “make 5 TikToks from this.” Changes work the same way: type “make the hook faster” and Cutleap does it.
Why make several versions of one video?
Nobody knows in advance which opening will hold people. Cutleap makes versions that start differently and tell the story from different angles, so you can post them and keep what works. The same thing makes ads perform better too.
Does Cutleap generate new footage?
No. Cutleap edits what you give it. If you want generated shots, bring them in alongside your own.
Can I open the videos in an editor?
Soon. The Pro plan will let you open any version as an editable project, or export it to Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.
Who owns the videos?
You do. Your footage and everything we make from it stay yours.
