Why people leave CapCut
CapCut is a good editor, but more of it now sits behind a paid plan, and some people find that out at the export screen. It’s still a timeline app. You drag clips, trim them, place captions and fix the words captions got wrong, one video at a time.

The Solo plan is $49 a month for 30 videos with no watermark. That costs more than a basic editing app. You’re paying for the edit to be done for you, not for a tool you still have to drive.
When CapCut is still the better pick
If you want frame-by-frame control, trending templates or lots of effects, stick with a timeline editor. Cutleap keeps things simple on purpose. It’s for people who would rather post than edit.
